Atilla Portland Show Review
On my way to Bend Oregon, to shoot Attila who happens to be co headlining with the Wicked Clowns! Wait! That’s got to be a misprint. Nope, the Atlanta natives have been touring with Psychopathic Records very own Insane Clown Posse, how does that match up? How…just how does that work? Well it happens I got to see this for myself.
While waiting for the doors to open I
happened to meet some amazing Juggalos and Juggalettes. The Crew From The Rip City Rydaz was in full effect. I was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances and I missed Lil toenail, and most of Sylar. Then Cage came on and well I’m sorry but, children don’t do meth it’s bad for you! He just didn’t have a flow to me and he sounded horrible, sorry have to be honest.
Waiting for Attila, this is my first time seeing them, and I have heard great things about them live.
They hit the stage and the sold out crowd went wild, they’re some to see a had them moving for the whole 40 minutes they were on stage the adrenaline starts to flow and you lose your shit! When the intro to Party With the Devil I swear didn’t see a single person on the floor not moshing or jumping. Seeing as this is my first time seeing these guys play, I can’t but help how much of the crowd was there just to see them.
I was very impressed and well I was hoping to hear Proving Grounds, and I wasn’t disappointed. One of the cool things I really enjoyed was how impressed Chris Fronzak was with the crowd. Through out the set he kept saying we need to come to Oregon more often you guys are fucking insane.
I like to judge a band on performance and how they sound live. After the buzzing in my head subsided I was totally floored by their performance. Thanks for making my brain melt! I would love another opportunity to not only shoot these guys again, but I would like to sit down and do a full interview hint, hint, hint, and as a side note as I was taking shots I couldn’t help notice how much fun they are having on stage, the showmanship that they all hold as a band is amazing.
As they ended you can see everyone is still pumped and waiting for ICP. Things that are never on time or accurate, the weather and concerts. Apparently there were supposed to be two other acts that dropped off the tour, and there was a 45 minute wait between sets.
So as the crowd is starting to withdraw from their recent adrenaline rush, the lights go off and it’s showtime.
So you ask was it worth seeing Attila live for the first time? Or getting an amazing opportunity to do a live shoot of Attila? Or
taking three full Faygo bottles to the chest? Then walking in the cold to your car with only your ass not soaked in diet cola? And to top it off meeting some amazing Juggalos and Juggalettes? Of course I would this is the music business baby!
But this was an amazing shoot for me. I loved it and the people. Plus I have to hand it to the Security at the Midtown Ballroom. You guys were awesome thanks!
So that’s the coverage of my shenanigans and until next time
Keep Your Hatchets Swinging!!
And
Catch you on the Flipside!

Ashes to Omens “Feed Me More”
Ashes To Omens are a band from Georgia who’s latest single “Feed Me More” has a great sound to it. It reminds me of bands around the mid to late 2000s. They have a good mixture of sound. The song is a perfect blend of hard rock and metal with the vocals very crisp and delivered with passion.
The song “Feed Me More” has a great melody and works well with the bands style and genre of music. It also is a great title to a song because after listening to it I wanted more of the band.
Some will say that it’s very radio rock/metal and sometimes I do have issues with that but I felt that this song even though it does have that feel to it, isn’t just a radio rock song for the sake of being a radio rock song. I think this single is worth a listen to and could possibly be a track that might make your playlist.

DEVILSKIN “Barracuda”
Anyone who knows me, knows I have a huge soft spot for the band “Heart”. Of course Barracuda is an amazing song and has been covered by other artists before and when it comes to those covers I’m very critical to the vocals, nobody can touch Ann Wilson’s vocals on that track but I always love to hear a great cover.
New Zealand’s DevilSkin cover is one of those that I feel is a top tier cover. Vocalist JENNIE SKULANDER has an amazing voice and I feel that it works very well to this song. I love the heavy ending to the song, it gave it that heavy edge to it that most covers of the song don’t have.
If you’re a fan of the song, I would highly recommend checking out the video and giving this cover a listen.

Collective Soul “7EVEN YEAR ITCH” Greatest Hits 1994-2001 Vinyl
I’ve always been a big fan of Collective Soul and have been lucky to have seen them a few times. This band has always been in my music mixes since the 1990s.
The vinyl release is exactly what you would want for a greatest-hits album. All the best songs that collective soul had from 1994–2001 If you were a teenager or an adult in the 90s, you can’t tell me that you didn’t jam out to songs like “Shine,” “Gel,” and “December.”
With other great songs like “Heavy,” “Run,” “The World I Know,” and “Forgiveness,” This greatest hit album sounds amazing on vinyl as well. Craft Recordings has done a really great job of keeping the magic and sound of these amazing songs.
The sleeve cover has some cool photos of the band throughout the years. This vinyl just came out in Collective Soul fashion in December, and is ready to be part of your vinyl collection, and just brings you back to a great time in life.
