Blood,Lust,Death Tour
FishHead Cantina Baltimore
March 25th 2017

This crazy ass tour made its way to Baltimore area for a night of good music, lots of drinking, and tons of crazy antics all rolled into a four-way of great acts.

First up was Local born, LA bound industrial rock sensation Davey Suicide. Fresh off new album “Made from Fire” that just dropped on Friday. The boys came out and kicked off the tour just how it should be done. The crowd was ready to see the hometown Davey put on a spectacle of a show. Playing tracks off the new album like “Too Many Freaks”, “ Rise Above” and “ Dancing with the reaperDavey Suicide
showed us that they are in this for the long haul. Ending the night with “Generation Fuck Star” put the exclamation at the end of their set.

Next up was theatrical powerhouse September Mourning. Led by singer Emily Lazar this band combines Gothic overtones, metal, comics, reapers, and pure chaos. The crowd especially loved when Emily started belting out those perfect metal growls. With songs like “ Skin and Bones” , “Angels to Dust” and “Children of FateSeptember Mourning blends all those attributes into a perfect spiral of music. Don’t forget the Reapers backing up the band in their black Roman Imperial outfits and the drummer with his ghoulish face. September Mourning delivers a stellar performance no matter what size stage they play on and Emily really enjoys her fans taking time after the set to meet with fans and take photos.

Combichrist was up next, which is always a crazy good time. With Lead singer Andy LaPlegua stage demanding presence, to drummer Joe Letz insane antics (this time he was wearing a Pussy Riot type mask with a bikini on that had some nice boobage going on) Combichrist is a electronic/metal rave
acid trip all rolled up in a nice angel dusted joint. Playing good wholesome family songs like “ What the fuck is wrong with you”, “ Shut up and Swallow” and “Maggots at the party”. Combichrist is one of the premiere bands to see live.

Last up was rock icons Dope. Touring off Their latest album “Blood Money part 1”. Dope members on this tour were Edsel, Virus, Nik Dibs and Daniel Fox. Dope always puts on a hell of a show and the crowd is always ready for a crazy night with Edsel on the Mic. During this time on the tour they added a few songs that haven’t been played in My Funeral” which was one of my favorite songs off “No Regrets” album. “Blood Money”, “ Lexipro” and “1999” were played off the new album. Dope killed it again with a picture perfect example of how a rock band should perform with amazing songs, killer musical talent, stage electronics and bad ass attitudes.

About W.A.S.P.

Few bands in the history of rock n roll have ever incited the love, the hate, and the raw emotional effect this band has had on the world. From the very beginning, in the small venues of Los Angeles, California, and later to the numerous countries worldwide that banned these Winged Assassins from performing live, the band’s unique style of shock and rock caused religious organizations, local city councils, parliaments, and the Washington D.C. Senate to hold hearings in an effort to bar this group from selling records and trashing stages everywhere they played.

The band’s founding member, frontman Blackie Lawless, has led the group as its lead vocalist and primary songwriter since its beginning. His unique brand of visual, social, and political comment took the group to worldwide heights and sold millions of records alongside a legacy of sold-out shows across the globe for 4 decades.

Them Damn Kings from NJ just released a new single “Shown With a Fist”.
If you like your music in your face with a touch of old school rock and roll this is the band for you. It’s got gritty vocals and pounding drums adding in some killer guitar shreds.
It’s a song that you listen to when you want to get into a bar fight or want to drive your car really fast down the highway.
It’s worth a listen, check out the lyric video below with a little bonus guitar mortal kombat shred off.

Ashes to Omens “Feed Me More”

Ashes To Omens are a band from Georgia who’s latest single “Feed Me More” has a great sound to it. It reminds me of bands around the mid to late 2000s. They have a good mixture of sound. The song is a perfect blend of hard rock and metal with the vocals very crisp and delivered with passion.

The song “Feed Me More” has a great melody and works well with the bands style and genre of music. It also is a great title to a song because after listening to it I wanted more of the band.

Some will say that it’s very radio rock/metal and sometimes I do have issues with that but I felt that this song even though it does have that feel to it, isn’t just a radio rock song for the sake of being a radio rock song. I think this single is worth a listen to and could possibly be a track that might make your playlist.
