Orgy and Cold came into Baltimore on a Sunday at Soundstage bringing all kinds of Goths/Rockers to the show.

Cold who are still touring on the anniversary of “Year of the Spider” always brings a good time, good music and lots of singing. The band is always one of the best when it comes to fans. Scooter always stops for autographs and photos. Watching them throughout the years has been amazing and everytime still takes my breath away. This time i got to watch the band play with my Friend and Friend of the band Kid Dreadful and her parents. It’s always amazing to connect with others on the songs of Cold. I love how they interact with the fans on stage and love watching Lindsay plays the bass on stage, you can really tell she gets into the world of every song. Songs like “Back Home”, “Don’t Belong” and “Wasted Years” really make the night special. We also got to hear a few songs of the debut album like “Everyone Dies” and “Insane”.

Orgy was headling tonight touring on the 25th anniversary of “Candyass”. The band has had some mishaps with busses on this tour and the drummer tonight had a fever over 100, but that didn’t stop them from coming out and doing a show for the fans. It was great to hear the songs like “Stitches”, “Blue Monday”, “Gender” and “Dizzy”. We got to hear “Slept so long” off the Queen of the damned soundtrack. Since the drummer wasn’t feeling that great they did cut a few songs off but then came back onstage and said screw It lets do one more and did the new song “Skum”. I loved that when they played “Blue Monday” Jay came out into the crowd to sing and jump with the fans.

This was a great tour and was super great seeing 2 bands that have shaped my musical tastes in the late 90s early 2000s. I can’t wait to see what’s next for both Cold and Orgy. If you get a chance to see them play, I urge you to do so.

LORDS OF ACID ARE BACK ON TOUR AND MADE THEIR WAY INTO DC at the 930 Club. It’s been since 2019 that the Lords toured the US, this time they have the latest edition singer Gigi Ricci. 

I have to say Gigi was amazing on stage, such a great performer and entertainer and so personable with the fans and even tho she was a little under the weather and had a sore throat she came out and killed it. 

Of course it always awesome to see Praga again and my friend bassist Dietrich Thrall. 

Lords of acid played a good mix of albums “Our Little Secret”, “Voodoo-U” “Lust” and “Farstucker”.  

This night was even made more super special because we got a Praga set before the lords set which included the Mortal Kombat theme song. I also want to give it up for Trudy who came on the stage with Lords and had GiGi dominate them and spank. Also a quick shoutout to “Sex Bomb Annie” who got tossed into the crowd and took a good licking.

It was another year at Merriweather Post Pavilion for the 15th annual M3. As you know the weather in May in Maryland can be any way it likes and again this year the weather decided to rain upon the crowd, but that didn’t stop the fans from coming and listening to some amazing bands. 2 days of 80s rock and roll. 

The Highlights of day 1 on Saturday has to be Fan Valen kicking off the stage and bringing us some awesome music of Van Halen. We got to sit down with the guys and talk and these guys are no joke, super awesome guys. Of course you had Baltimore’s own Child’s Play rocking out the stage as well. Germany’s pride Doro rocked the stage and always puts on a hell of a show while still looking amazing (it must be the Jagermeister). Quiet Riot got the crowd to bang their heads, Stephen Pearcy got them going round and round while we got a rare Queensryche set. Saturday set the bar very high. 

Sunday we got a little warmer weather mixed in with a little rain but not as much as on Saturday. Sundays lineup I was super excited for. After Sundogs had to cancel do to illness that meant my boys in Pretty Boy Floyd got to open up the day and damn those boys know how to rock, and given a little extra time was able to have Steve banter and throw some fun shade. We got to sit down and talk to drummer Nick Mason which is always fun. 

The other highlights of Sunday were Cold Sweat kicked ass on stage and we talked to them on Saturday back at the hotel which was a awesome time and kept running into the band the whole weekend and they kept just hanging with us and talking and taking photos, such a class act is Cold Sweat. Faster Pussycat tore the stage up as well. The i guess you call them maybe the “White Sheep” of M3 Stryper put on a “Heavenly” set and we also got to sit down with Michael and Robert Sweet which was a huge highlight of the weekend . 

Then came Bret Michaels and his band to end the night and boy did they ever. Before they hit the stage we got to talk to the drummer Mary about playing with such an icon like Bret. Bret destroyed the stage and the night and might have been one of the best performances I’ve seen ever on the M3 stage. He played some classic Poison songs along with other covers bringing his friends on stage with him as well as another icon Dee Snider. It was such a great way to end the night and to end the 15th M3 Rock Festival.
