STAR WARS & METAL… NOTHING IS MORE PERFECT

Overloads from far far away, Galactic Empire came into Philadelphia to rid the world of rebellion scum and bring forth the Wizard World Comic Con Nerds to gather and witness pure entertainment and kick ass music. Mere mortal Empire Extreme’s writer/photographer Ron Senyo tracked down the leader, Dark Vader and asked him a few questions before he forced choked him and destroyed the planet.

Empire: How was the trip for a galaxy far far away?
DV: Horrible.. The traffic in Philadelphia is the worst.

Empire: I am a Penguins fan and since we are in Philadelphia, home of the despicable Flyers, will you be killing any of the Flyers while your here?
DV: If any of Flyers are rebel scum. Then yes… we really don’t care about earth’s sports teams. It’s not really our scene.

Empire: Speaking of rebel scums. Have you a had any conflict with the rebellion lately?
DV: We always do, but we usually execute one each night.Tonight will be no different.

Empire: Why music and is the message within the music subliminal?
DV: I think the message is very clear. I don’t think we need an subliminal things. Pop culture and the media manipulation seems to be more effective on earth.

Empire: Will the Emperor be making an appearance?
DV: No, he usually hangs back and we just report to him on occasion.

Empire: Did you help Boba Sett escape his pending doom?
DV: No, I didn’t help him. He just showed up one day.

Empire: How do you feel about the Cantina Band?
DV: I like them, I think that we play there song better.

Empire: Any plans on destroying them?
DV: No, they don’t seem to bother us, and they don’t know how to market themselves. They are just stuck playing that one song in the same cantina, I don’t feel they are a threat.

Empire: Who in this galaxy do you want to force choke right now?
DV: Present company excluded. I would say Jimmy Buffet

Empire: What would you like to say to your fans that are coming out to see you?
DV: I would like to think that nobody is safe. If we haven’t hit your city yet we will, rebel scum need to be aware.

And just like that Dark Vader had enough of my questions and force choked me. Luckily he sensed much darkness inside me and let me live to tell everyone about his band Galactic Empire.

Later that evening Galactic Empire hit the stage and everyone in attendance was ready to rock out to our favorite songs of the Star Wars movies. There is nothing like hearing John Williams music that still gives me chills and combining kick ass pure metal. At one point during the show the metal geeks started to mosh which was just as epic as it sounds. We also had some fans dressed up in their Star Wars apparel with their lightsabers in full glory while jamming to “Duel of the Fates”, That was about as close to heaven as one can get.

Galactic Empire needs to be in every city all the time, for nothing else brings such amusement and pure enjoyment in times when we need much more of that in our lives.
