Hey MetalHeads of all ages, its that time of the month (no pun intended) to reveal the Local Band of the month. Wrath of Typhon. Hailing from York, PA. This crazy high energy Metal band consist of Crazy J on the vocal shrieks, Bill on the Axe, Alan slapping around his trusty bass and David beating his drums like it owes him money. Wrath of Typhon has released one album Speak from Fire and are currently in the works for a follow up album.
Empire Extreme got the guys to stop drinking and killing young children for a few minutes to talk to them and ask a few questions, before the mayhem continued.
Empire: I’m here hanging out with the guys from wrath of tyhpoon.
WT: That’s TYPHON dammit!!!
Empire: sorry TYPHON.
WT: Everybody says that. It’s TYPH king of the monsters. It’s Greek mythology. His fingers are snakes and he has 20 dicks. Wait 18 dicks he had two cut off.
Empire: How long had you been a band?
David: Well me and my brother Bill aka Messy Tits were born from the same mom and bill came out of the womb plucking on the umbilical cord and I came out of the womb playing on buttcheeks and tits and stuff. By the time I was 5 I took a break and started drinking and story goes I ran into crazy j and sathington we all get together drink some, play some tunes we’re a fucking band.
Empire: So what are some of your influences?
David: El Duce from the Mentors the king of sleaze.
Bill: Black Sabbath, Slayer
Alan: Les Claypool (at that time someone yelled Pornography)
J: I like a lot of the Big 4 those bands always had a lot of influences on me, and if you don’t know who the Big 4 are, you’re stupid.
Empire: I seen you were on Fox News how was that?
J: We were in contact with a guy and he knew this guy who heard one of our demos and was like I need to get them on the news, he worked for the news company, he was a weird guy tho.
David: It was really fun, we set up super early in the morning and started drinking.
Empire: If you could bring back any metal god from the dead, who would you bring back?
WT: Micheal Jackson was a great rock and roll legend, bring him back dammit. Elvis . Lenny, Hendrix, Oderus from Gwar, El Duce, Frank Zappa, Cliff Burton. Ronny James.
Empire: What’s the craziest thing that has even happened before at one of your shows?
WT: What ever happens in the Band Van, stays in the band van. And that’s all you’re going to get.
Empire: Anything you want to say to your fans?
WT: If you come out to a wrath show, that’s fucking awesome. Thanks for supporting Metal and supporting us. The new album Kingdom of Fear will be out in the spring. We want everyone to get along with everyone, drink, smoke some weed.Legalize that and prostitution, stop the terrorist bullshit and come to the show and rock out. We are all about positively.
