The Baptize Tour 2021
The Baptize Tour 2021 Featuring Atreyu, Crown the Empire, Tetrarch, Saul and Defying Decay rolled in Baltimore Last night at RamsHead Live.
Defying Decay opened up. This band is a whole lot of pure energy and sick ass tunes. Hailing from Thailand, Defying Decay lead singer Jay had to go back home for a family emergency for some of the tour and they got a friend Anthony to sing and I thought he was great. The whole band was fun to watch you can see the raw emotions from the songs they play and the fact they get to represent their country in a genre not represented often.
Saul was up next. I got to see a little of Saul at BlueRidge Festival and loved how they sounded. From the state of Iowa, Saul brings that hard rock sound into the future. Singer Blake Bedsaul and his brother guitarist Zach bring with them an edge in a genre that has been constantly revolving.
Tetrarch was up next and on this lineup of bands they stuck out like a sore thumb, but it a good way. Tetrarch are bringing back that Nu-Metal/MetalCore sound but with their own flair that doesn’t really fit into any box but is heavy as shit and has great vibes too it. Singer Josh Fore and Guitarist Diamond Rowe are a pair to reckon with, you can tell that they grow up together they have that great on stage chemistry and when they are shredding on guitars it’s magical.
Diamond is a superstar not only is she a bad ass guitarist but just a delight to watch on stage because you can feel that she’s right where she needs to be and is enjoying every minute of it and just makes you feel good about yourself as well. With a new album Unstable just released in April on Napalm Records, Tetrarch are the band to keep you’re eye on, I see them blowing up even more very soon and will be huge. With songs like I’m Not Right, Stitch me Up, Tetrarch got the crowd into the show even more and opened up the pits.
Crown the Empire was next. This Texas MetalCore band had the crowd going crazy. All of them were either moshing or singing along to every song with singer Andy Leo. The band put on a solid performance and even though I wasn’t that familiar with them as a band, they put on a great live show.
The headliners Atreyu closed the night. I’ve been a fan of Atreyu for many years, when they released their first album Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses I was instantly a fan. I even got their signature chant “Live,Love,Burn, Die” tattooed on my wrist, which has always been a motto of mine. With a new album Baptize just released this year and a little lineup change(drummer Brandon Saller on vocals after Alex Varkatas left the band, Drummer Kyle Rosa stepped in and bass player Marc McKnight on the unclean vocals). Atreyu has now been making music for over 20 years.
The crowd was fully into every song and singing every word. Guitarist Dan Jacobs still supporting his Karate Bandana and his killer bloody guitar. Atreyu rocked the house playing about 17 songs. Opening up with Baptize and ending the night with Lip Gloss and Black.
Overall the night was great 5 bands all with a different sound but came together to put on one hell of a package.

About W.A.S.P.
Few bands in the history of rock n roll have ever incited the love, the hate, and the raw emotional effect this band has had on the world. From the very beginning, in the small venues of Los Angeles, California, and later to the numerous countries worldwide that banned these Winged Assassins from performing live, the band’s unique style of shock and rock caused religious organizations, local city councils, parliaments, and the Washington D.C. Senate to hold hearings in an effort to bar this group from selling records and trashing stages everywhere they played.
The band’s founding member, frontman Blackie Lawless, has led the group as its lead vocalist and primary songwriter since its beginning. His unique brand of visual, social, and political comment took the group to worldwide heights and sold millions of records alongside a legacy of sold-out shows across the globe for 4 decades.

Them Damn Kings “Shown With A Fist”
Them Damn Kings from NJ just released a new single “Shown With a Fist”.
If you like your music in your face with a touch of old school rock and roll this is the band for you. It’s got gritty vocals and pounding drums adding in some killer guitar shreds.
It’s a song that you listen to when you want to get into a bar fight or want to drive your car really fast down the highway.
It’s worth a listen, check out the lyric video below with a little bonus guitar mortal kombat shred off.

Ashes to Omens “Feed Me More”
Ashes To Omens are a band from Georgia who’s latest single “Feed Me More” has a great sound to it. It reminds me of bands around the mid to late 2000s. They have a good mixture of sound. The song is a perfect blend of hard rock and metal with the vocals very crisp and delivered with passion.
The song “Feed Me More” has a great melody and works well with the bands style and genre of music. It also is a great title to a song because after listening to it I wanted more of the band.
Some will say that it’s very radio rock/metal and sometimes I do have issues with that but I felt that this song even though it does have that feel to it, isn’t just a radio rock song for the sake of being a radio rock song. I think this single is worth a listen to and could possibly be a track that might make your playlist.
